(Incomplete)

It was all like a short-lived dream,
Five years, yes, five, have passed it seems.
That first day he’ll never forget,
When he was not mature just yet.
Remember the very first name?
His life would never be the same.
He was young and wanted some fun,
A broken heart? He had just begun.
A second one? Can’t be undone,
Told them they were the only one.
Never once did he have to lie,
And neither did he need to try.
That was until he saw the light,
It took him down without a fight.
Now it was time for a big change,
The season called for a new name.
The attention-seeking assassin,
Giving into the light’s passion,
Dedication second to none,
Her frown was like a loaded gun.
Was he ready for this new life?
Just a girlfriend, not a wife.
Some jealous, most were furious.
One of them made him curious.
He would pursue, for old time’s sake.
Another one of his mistakes.
The light suffered a broken heart,
They had to spend some time apart.
Three long days, then vindication.
Showed her his appreciation.
Returned her moving dedication,
Without any hesitation.
Who else wiped away all her tears,
And protected her from her fears,
Carried her when she was crawling,
Catched her when she felt like falling.
What did she ever do for him?
The outlook was becoming grim.
As he watched his invest go to shit,
It was everything he commit.
Left in pieces for him to fix,
For himself, by himself, for six
Months; some lost, some broken, some dead.
He can’t get her out of his head.
Remember how endlessly she said?
She would cry if he ever bled.
But where is she now you damn fool,
